We are seeking an Early Childhood Education (ECE) professional to join our team at WoodGreen. This is a full-time position responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in group settings.

Job Summary:

The ECE staff member will be responsible for planning, supervising, and implementing daily programs that promote the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work cooperatively with others, and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

About You:

  • You hold an Early Childhood Education diploma or equivalent and are currently certified as a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE).
  • You have a valid Standard First Aid/CPR-C certification and up-to-date immunization records.
  • You are committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement daily programs that align with the Ministry of Education's policies, pedagogy, and curriculum.
  • Provide guidance and care to children in groups, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Record daily attendance, receive medical information, and report to appropriate personnel when necessary.
  • Safely escort children outside the centre and ensure adequate supervision during outings.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on children's progress.
