Derivatives Confirmation Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Derivatives Confirmation Manager to join our team at BMO. As a key member of our Capital Markets Operations group, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our confirmation process, including initiating drafting, matching, completing reconciliations, and providing financial and audit attestations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide end-to-end confirmation and trade matching capability for Capital Markets Businesses and Products
- Responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the confirmation process
- Ensure appropriate confirmation and regulatory policies and best practices are followed
- Perform complex analysis and investigations
- Lead the identification and implementation of process and control improvements
- Ensure the readiness of operational processes for new product initiatives, system implementations or upgrades
- Participate in change initiatives performing requirements gathering, process design, system testing and post-implementation reviews
- Partner with Front Office, Finance, Risk and Controls, Trade Support, Profit and Loss, Project Delivery, Technology and Operations to enhance end-to-end process and controls
- Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge and experience using relevant systems and technology
- Knowledge and understanding of the business unit's key products and services, processes and controls
- Knowledge of the risk and regulatory requirements of the business
- Prior experience in financial services industry with a focus on Capital Markets and specifically operations/confirmations would be an asset
- Knowledge of relevant ISDA definitions and their application preferred
- Knowledge of the risk and regulatory requirements of the business
- Extensive knowledge of interest rate, commodity, metals, Carbon and/or equity OTC derivative products
- Extensive knowledge of the product life cycle and respective operational functions related to derivatives
- Knowledge and understanding of the business unit's key products and services, processes and controls
- Knowledge of the risk and regulatory requirements of the business

BMO offers a competitive salary range of $68,000.00 - $126,000.00, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans.
