Network Technical Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Technical Lead to join our team at 2K. As a key member of our network team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network systems for our multiplayer games.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement network systems for multiplayer games
  • Lead and technically supervise a team of engineers to integrate network functionalities into the game engine
  • Ensure network performance meets low latency, low bandwidth, and high reliability standards
  • Diagnose and resolve network-related issues during development and post-launch
  • Collaborate with gameplay and backend teams to ensure seamless integration of network features
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest network technologies and best practices

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in applying networking principles in AAA multiplayer games
  • Expert knowledge of low-level network concepts and high-level multiplayer gaming systems
  • Solid understanding of network protocols, data transmission, and synchronization techniques
  • High-performance programming, multithreading, and memory management skills
