We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Store Environment Team Member to join our team at Michaels. As a Store Environment Team Member, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of overall look and feel of the store, including maintaining store cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver our Brand Promises.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including dusting, sweeping, and mopping floors.
- Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in a responsible manner.
- Assist with receiving and stocking merchandise, including lifting and moving heavy boxes and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service, including answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an engaging and inviting shopping environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, including assisting with cash handling and operating a cash register.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
