About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Associate to join our team at IA Financial Group. As a Marketing Associate, you will play a key role in contributing to the growth and success of our business by developing and executing sales strategies and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain effective business relationships with our Managing General Agencies and insurance and investment advisors.
  • Provide training and support to our agents on IA products, sales concepts, and illustration software.
  • Conduct training needs analysis and prepare training schedules and communication to agents.
  • Participate in road shows for new IA products and services.
  • Attend conferences and events as a speaker, delegate, or IA exhibitor.
  • Make suggestions and strategies for placement of complex cases.
  • Provide technical and product advice to agents.
  • Monitor training activities and track resultant increase in business.
  • Receive and record MGA/Agent feedback to improve products and software.
  • Control and use the Sales Tracker to track new business and support the Director of Sales.

Support and Administrative Functions:

  • Respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Create and revise presentations using PowerPoint software.
  • Participate in product development meetings and review marketing material.
  • Develop MGA campaigns, sales awards, and certificates to recognize personal producers.
  • Provide life insurance and annuity quotes.
  • Train agents via telephone or in person about using our software, products, and completing applications/forms.

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma and College Marketing Diploma.
  • 4-6 years of insurance background.
  • LOMA designations (ACS, AIAA), CLU, CFP, LLQP, or other related qualifications.
  • Excellent training skills, ability to lead, teach, coach, and motivate.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of people.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent organization and planning skills, with a strong ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and good mathematical aptitude.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ability to work with mainframe computer systems.
  • Good knowledge of Canadian illustration software.
  • Valid Driver's License and Vehicle.

Compensation:

The typical hiring range for this position is from $68,000 to $101,000 annually, with base pay offered based on location and may vary depending on skills, job-related knowledge, experience, and internal equity.
