Job Overview
Dexterra Group is seeking a part-time Janitorial Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stripping and waxing floors to a high standard
- Cleaning carpets and relocating furniture as needed
- Completing tasks to a high quality standard
- Working at various locations
- Reading and explaining Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
- Completing required safety training
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive manual tasks
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. for 3-4 hours per shift
- Ability to walk large areas of floor space
- Ability to maneuver large machinery
Requirements:
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Collaborative team player with attention to detail
- Intrinsic motivation to deliver high-quality work
- Ability to thrive in a hands-on environment
- WHMIS certification preferred (training available if needed)
- First aid training advantageous
