Auto Body Technician

Job Title: Auto Body Technician
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team at les schultz autobody. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and repairing vehicles to ensure they are safe and roadworthy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect repaired vehicles to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Plan and execute repair work to be performed
- Test drive vehicles to ensure proper handling and performance
- Clean and maintain work space to ensure a safe and healthy environment
- Instruct apprentices on proper repair techniques and safety protocols
- Replace front end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components as needed
- File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired
- Hammer out dents, buckles, and defects using blocks and hammers
- Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
- Repair or replace interior components as needed
- Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
Requirements:
- Auto Body Repairer Trade Certification
- Experience an asset
- Physically demanding work environment
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Dependability and reliability
- Team player with good communication skills
