Quality Inspector Job Description

As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our aircraft maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inspections and testing to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Bombardier's quality standards.
  • Collaborate with quality leadership to develop and implement quality control procedures.
  • Perform weighing procedures in accordance with manufacturer's recommended practices and procedures.
  • Coordinate inspection activities in compliance with computer tracking maintenance programs.
  • Inspect aircraft, engines, parts, and components using precision tools and equipment.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all work packages, records of arrival, maintenance, and corrective actions performed.
  • Research aircraft drawings and technical data to support inspection activities.
  • Perform walk-around inspections of aircraft for release from maintenance.
  • Provide data to customers as requested.
Requirements:
  • Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification.
  • Minimum 3 years' aircraft maintenance experience or substantiated equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years' of corporate/commercial jet experience.
  • Basic set of hand tools and ability to demonstrate inventory and control of tools.
  • Ability to use measuring and basic hand tools to interpret/operate test equipment.
  • Working knowledge of FAA Regs, CAA, RSM/QCM, ADs, SBs, TCDS, etc.
  • Working knowledge of return-to-service procedures.
  • Ability to train, coach, and mentor employees in performance of their duties in areas of qualification.
