About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Solution Architect to join our team of consultants at Chrome Technologies in Montreal. This is a permanent, hybrid position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Solution Architecture: Develop comprehensive solution architectures for TI/TO components, taking into account client-specific requirements and industry best practices.
  • Technical Consulting: Analyze and recommend various technological options in response to client requests, evaluating their technical feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide informed leadership on commercial and technical decisions related to TI/TO and IoT solutions, serving as a trusted advisor to the organization.
  • Collaboration and Integration: Lead architecture tables with vendors and client representatives, ensuring seamless integration of technological components.
  • Documentation: Thoroughly document the global system architecture, emphasizing the transparent integration of TI and OT systems within the global ecosystem.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in solution architecture, with practical experience in information technologies, operational technologies, and IoT.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and lead technical discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in enterprise architecture best practices, information security, and data governance.
  • In-depth knowledge of emerging technologies and market trends in IoT, data analysis, and system integration.
  • University degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field; a professional certification in enterprise architecture or a relevant field is an asset.
