About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to drive excellence and innovation in the management of airport assets. As a Director, Maintenance & Facilities Optimization, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and performance of YVR's extensive infrastructure, including its buildings, mechanical systems, electrical supply, airfield systems, and more.

Your expertise will be instrumental in developing strategies to optimize asset performance, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including peers in Asset Management, Environment, IT, Operations, and Project Delivery, to achieve ambitious goals such as achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2030.

Responsibilities
  • Key Accountabilities:
  • Manage the Maintenance & Facilities Optimization team, ensuring effective asset management and performance in a dynamic 24/7 environment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement comprehensive asset management plans
  • Leverage data analytics and technology to inform maintenance and optimization strategies
  • Drive business improvements through process enhancements and technology adoption
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal asset performance
  • Promote sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives to minimize environmental impact
