We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics and Operations Manager to join our team at HADI RECYCLING CANADA LTD. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating activities with other departments, resolving work problems, and recommending productivity and quality improvements. They will also recruit and hire staff, train workers in duties and policies, arrange training for staff, conduct performance reviews, coordinate, assign, and review work, order materials, equipment, and supplies, organize and maintain inventory, establish work schedules and procedures, and plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Activities: Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Resolve Work Problems: Resolve work-related issues and provide technical advice to improve productivity and quality.
  • Recruit and Hire Staff: Recruit and hire qualified staff members to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Train Workers: Train workers in duties and policies to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Arrange Training: Arrange training sessions for staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to assess employee performance and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Coordinate Work: Coordinate and assign work tasks to employees to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Order Materials and Supplies: Order necessary materials, equipment, and supplies to support operations.
  • Organize and Maintain Inventory: Organize and maintain inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
  • Establish Work Schedules and Procedures: Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize downtime.
  • Plan, Organize, and Oversee Operational Logistics: Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Requirements
  • Education: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar role is needed.
