Captains Oven Pizza: Experienced Pizza Cook Wanted

We are seeking an experienced Pizza Master to join our team at Captains Oven Pizza. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for planning menus, estimating food requirements, and maintaining inventory records.

About the Role:
  • Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Job Type: Permanent, full-time position

In this role, you will also be responsible for training new staff members in preparation, cooking, and handling of food. You will maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all health and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Manage kitchen operations

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
