Your Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Water Treatment Systems group, you'll work on a variety of projects, including water and wastewater treatment plants, and related facilities. Your expertise will be essential in designing and implementing control systems, process control strategies, and automation designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop control systems, process control strategies, and automation designs for water and wastewater treatment plants and related facilities.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to provide technical services to public and private-sector clients.
- Conduct field reviews and evaluations of existing equipment, control systems, and control panels.
- Prepare studies, conceptual reports, and technical memorandums.
- Support construction activities, including reviewing contractor and supplier submittals, participating in construction site inspections, and assisting with system troubleshooting.
Qualifications
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Possess solid interpersonal skills for working in a team environment.
- Possess strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to mentor junior to intermediate staff and work with remotely located project team members.
- Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering is required.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in instrumentation and controls.
- Possess Professional Engineering registration (P.Eng.) or the ability to obtain within 18 months of hire date is required.
