We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Shannex's transitional health facility in West Bedford, Nova Scotia. As a key member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will play a vital role in supporting patients with complex needs as they transition back to home or community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients
• Provide evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to maintain and improve functional abilities and health status
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and effective discharge planning
• Foster a culture of patient-centered care, promoting empowerment and self-management
About You
To succeed in this role, you will possess a master's degree in Physiotherapy, current registration with the provincial College of Physiotherapists, and a minimum of two years clinical experience. You will have a strong understanding of physiotherapy principles, methods, and techniques, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Your ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team will be essential in delivering high-quality patient care.
