Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Housekeeper to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our locations to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for our guests.

You'll take pride in cleaning and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, integrity, and attention to detail. By working closely with our team, you'll help create a clean, safe, and organized environment that meets our guests' expectations.

Responsibilities
  1. Maintain all assigned rooms, ancillary areas, and department areas in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner.
  2. Clean all assigned areas utilizing established cleaning steps and protocols.
  3. Clean and sanitize assigned carts and equipment daily, ensuring all items are returned in an orderly manner 100% of the time.
  4. Replenish supplies, such as paper towels, toilet tissues, soap, etc., and request supplies and equipment as needed.
  5. Routinely collect waste and sanitize garbage cans on an ongoing basis.
  6. Clean or sanitize after emergency spills as requested.
  7. Ensure a safe, clean, attractive environment for visitors and staff at all times.
  8. Perform periods of heavy lifting and strenuous labor required.
  9. Required to perform exterior cleaning on occasion.
  10. Keep work areas neat and tidy.
  11. Thoroughly clean and sanitize entire areas and washrooms when applicable, utilizing established departmental guidelines and productivity measures.
  12. Use appropriate solutions in disinfecting rooms.
  13. Strip all soil and finished base material per department guidelines.
  14. Analyze floor or carpet conditions and determine proper cleaning techniques per department guidelines.
  15. Scrubs floors to remove soil per departmental guidelines.
  16. Refinishes floors to glossy appearance; removes spots from carpets and shampoos; removes stains and finishes floors per departmental guidelines.
  17. Maintains quality standards continuously per departmental protocol.
  18. Cleans the floor and carpet appropriately to maintain proper appearance with no incidents of damage noted from using incorrect solutions or procedures.
  19. Demonstrated efficient and safe use of housekeeping equipment and solutions as observed by manager.
  20. Handles chemicals and solutions per department guidelines.
  21. Ensures that all chemicals and solutions are in properly labeled containers at all times with no documented incidents noted.
  22. Adheres to safety regulations as outlined in department guidelines, e.g. wet floor signs.
Qualifications


• Past cleaning experience preferred

• Attention to detail

• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, senior management, and Aramark support staff

• Ability to respond effectively to changing demands

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
