Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Skilled Construction Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating various types of heavy equipment, including cranes, draglines, and dredging attachments. This is a permanent position with 40 hours per week, offering competitive compensation and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials;
  • Perform pre-operational inspection and ensure all equipment is in good working condition;
  • Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt;
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades;
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites;
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications;
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction;
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate or diploma required;
  • Experience an asset but not essential;
  • Excellent physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
  • Ability to work safely and follow safety protocols.
