Your Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Therapy Assistant to join our team at the Drumheller Health Centre. As a Therapy Assistant, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality rehabilitation services to pediatric clients and their families. Your role will involve assisting in the preparation of materials for clinical and non-clinical activities, as well as providing supports to the Children's Rehabilitation Services program overall.

As a Therapy Assistant, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of treatment plans, work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of materials for clinical and non-clinical activities
  • Provide supports to the Children's Rehabilitation Services program overall
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality rehabilitation services
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of treatment plans
  • Work effectively with internal and external partners

Required Qualifications:

Completion of a diploma from an accredited post-secondary rehabilitation Therapy Assistant program or equivalent training may be considered. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification is also required. A reliable vehicle for business use and work-related travel is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preference will be given to those with relevant pediatric experience.
