Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and assist with plant tasks, including cutting rebar, assembling steel, and tack welding
  • Maintain cleanliness of plant work areas and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Assist with physical inspections of plant property and departments
  • Work cooperatively as part of a productive team and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work safely, independently, and with minimal supervision

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in concrete or construction is an asset
  • Ability to learn and operate plant mobile equipment
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, sit, stand, and walk on varied terrain
