Artistic Program Manager

About This Job
Théâtre Outremont seeks an experienced Artistic Program Manager to lead the development and implementation of our artistic programming. The successful candidate will have a strong background in arts management, with a proven track record of successfully managing artistic programs from conception to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement artistic programming for the theatre, including concert performances, exhibitions, and other cultural events
- Collaborate with artists, curators, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality programming that meets the theatre's artistic vision
- Manage budgets, schedules, and logistics for artistic programs, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
- Provide excellent customer service to artists, audiences, and staff, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
- Develop and maintain relationships with artists, curators, and other stakeholders to ensure a strong network of artistic contacts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in arts management, fine arts, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in arts management, including program development and implementation
- Strong knowledge of the arts industry, including trends, best practices, and emerging issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
