We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker III to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair duties related to buildings, grounds, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs to buildings, grounds, and equipment in compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of electrical, plumbing, and painting systems.
- Operate a variety of equipment, including forklifts, generators, and hand tools.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Grade 10, plus two years of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License required.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
