Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist our experienced electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings. This is an excellent opportunity for a career-driven individual to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the installation of single-phase services for single or multi-meter installations
  • Test and measure voltage, loads, and ground faults integrity of circuits
  • Determine the appropriate selection of materials and methods for hazardous locations
  • Troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical systems
  • Connect power to audio and visual equipment
  • Install surface mount and/or overhead cables
  • Ground and bond electrical equipment, systems, and structures
  • Estimate costs and materials for electrical projects
  • Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in electrical work
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 40 hours per week
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with varying work settings, including construction, repair, and maintenance. They will be required to work outdoors, at heights, in confined spaces, and in cold/refrigerated environments. The candidate must be willing to travel and work in various locations.
