Senior Solutions Architect

At T-Net British Columbia, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solutions Architect to join our team. As a key member of our technology leadership team, you will be responsible for designing and developing an architecture framework for complex campus-wide information systems or services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a technology architecture strategy, policies, guiding principles, and standards to govern how technology solutions will be developed and executed.
  • Ensure all projects adhere to technology architecture and development standards and establish compliance processes to review in-progress activity.
  • Provide expert advice to other professionals in the establishment of related strategies, guiding principles, and policies.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and provide project management, business process analysis, systems support coordination, and applications lifecycle management.
  • Recruitment and management of external consultants and indirect supervision of interdisciplinary teams of university staff on enterprise-wide systems initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Proven Senior Level Solution Architecture experience within complex enterprise environments.
  • Demonstrated information systems and technology leadership for at least 2 years.
  • Experience in several of the following areas: project management, requirements definition, functional application design, configuration, implementation, testing, data conversion, training, and documentation.
  • Extensive experience in the implementation, integration, and support of complex systems.
  • Strong understanding of IT Service Management methodologies and associated tools (e.g. ServiceNow).
