Job Summary

3 Star Plumbing & Heating Inc is seeking a skilled Plumbing Apprentice to join our team. As a key member of our plumbing team, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining domestic, commercial, and industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.

Responsibilities
  • Install and repair plumbing fixtures and systems in various locations, including residential and commercial settings.
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shape and size.
Requirements
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Availability for shift or on-call work.
  • Current legal ability to work in Canada.
  • Residency in proximity to the advertised location.
  • Previous experience in the field of employment.
Work Environment

Our team works in a variety of settings, including confined spaces and wet/damp environments. We offer a permanent position with 32-48 hours of work per week.

Language and Work Term

The work language is English, and the work term is permanent.
