Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team at Rocky Mountain Equipment. As a Regional Service Technician, you will be responsible for the effective repair of agriculture machinery and components at high levels of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recondition and repair all agriculture equipment components and systems as assigned by the allocated branch shop foreman/manager within the branch.
  • Maintain good and timely working records for time, parts, supplies, and outside purchases in repairs.
  • Maintain and care for shop tools, equipment, and vehicles.
  • Communicate with others, internally and externally, professionally.
  • Assist local branches within the region as required, depending on local branch leadership structure.
  • Order all parts and materials required to perform assigned repairs utilizing local parts departments.
  • Maintain all work areas in a clean and safe condition.
  • Maintain an exceptional high level of customer and branch satisfaction.
  • Work with Regional Aftermarket Service Manager, Service Manager, and Foreman to identify and mitigate challenges and areas for improvement in the local area and build customer base and trust.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Completion of a formal apprenticeship program preferred.
  • Understanding of the agriculture and/or construction industry.
  • Understanding and demonstrated use of health and safety best practices.
  • Knowledge of Case IH, Case CE, and New Holland Equipment is an asset.
