Key Responsibilities- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees.
- Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
- Prepare and maintain general ledgers, financial statements, and other accounting reports, providing insights into the company's financial performance.
- Post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate financial records.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
