About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Sab 13Ji tax and accounting services. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees.
  • Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain general ledgers, financial statements, and other accounting reports, providing insights into the company's financial performance.
  • Post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
