Position Summary

The Georgian Bay Information Network (GBIN) is seeking a skilled Communications Lead to support the implementation of a shared Health Information System. This individual will work under the direction of the Change Manager to maintain a common vision, plan, and goal across all components of the project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective external communications strategies to engage stakeholders and promote the project's vision and goals.
  • Collaborate with the Change Manager and Project Director to ensure consistent communication across the project team.
  • Work with local correspondents to customize communications for specific stakeholder groups or regional audiences.
  • Provide regular updates and progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to Brightshores' 'CARE' Behaviours and 'LEAD' Competencies.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field.
  • Professional experience in corporate communications or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Health Information System implementations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Recent satisfactory performance and attendance record.
