We are seeking a skilled Packaging Supervisor to join our team at DSI Food Corporation. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the packaging process, ensuring high-quality products, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Train and supervise packaging staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Recommend personnel actions, such as hiring and promotions, to ensure a skilled and motivated team.
- Prepare production reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Recommend measures to enhance productivity and product quality.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of packaging staff, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to company policies.
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other departments.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a packaging or production environment.
- Permanent employment with a minimum of 30 hours per week.
- Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and management.
