GFoundation Corp is seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality craftsmanship and attention to detail in all aspects of carpentry work.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
- Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites
- Instruct apprentices
- Supervise other workers
- Estimate costs and materials
- Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
As a Carpentery Specialist, you will be working in a fast-paced construction environment. You will be required to work at heights, in noisy, dusty conditions, and outdoors. You will also be required to work in a variety of locations, including residential and commercial construction sites.
Requirements- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in carpentry
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
