About the Job

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Rising Star Daycare & OSC Ltd. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, clean and disinfect elevators, handle and report lost and found items.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, pick up debris and empty trash containers, wash windows, walls, and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 hours per week.
