Director of Information Technology

The Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo is seeking a seasoned IT professional to lead our technology team. As Director of Information Technology, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and operating all aspects of our information technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the IT team in delivering high-quality technology services to support business operations
  • Develop and implement IT strategies to drive business growth and innovation
  • Manage IT budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of technology
  • Collaborate with business units to understand technology requirements and develop solutions
  • Oversee the implementation of cybersecurity best practices and ensure the security of our technology infrastructure
Requirements:
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in IT leadership roles
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Master's degree in Business Administration or equivalent is an asset
  • Proven track record of leading IT teams and implementing complex projects
  • Experience with IT strategy development and implementation
