We are seeking a skilled Welder - Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Ishfaq Enterprises Inc. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of metal fabrication and welding services.
Key Responsibilities- Interpretation and Execution: Interpret welding process specifications and execute them accurately to meet industry standards.
- Metal Fabrication: Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
- Quality Control: Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
- Maintenance and Repair: Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
- Specialized Techniques: Apply shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG), and gas metal arc welding (GMAW) techniques as required.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in metal fabrication and welding.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and stand for extended periods.
- Equipment and Machinery: Proficiency in operating arc welding machines, gas welding machines, soldering machines, and spot welding machines.
- Work Environment: Outdoors, at heights, in confined spaces, dusty, and noisy conditions.
- Physical Capabilities: Manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
