Pharma Medica Research Inc. - Clinic Study Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clinic Study Assistant to join our team at Pharma Medica Research Inc. in Scarborough. As a Clinic Study Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the conduct of clinical studies, ensuring the safety and well-being of study participants, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Study Coordination: Assist with the coordination of clinical studies, including preparing study materials, managing subject flow, and ensuring compliance with study protocols.
  • Subject Safety and Compliance: Monitor subject safety and compliance with study restrictions and procedures, reporting any concerns or issues to the Group Leader or Manager.
  • Clinical Procedures: Perform clinical procedures such as study check-in, belongings search, mouth check, meal monitor, and other tasks as required by the study protocol and SOP requirements.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of clinical activities, including subject data, study procedures, and any issues or concerns.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Group Leader, MLA/Study Coordinator, and other team members to ensure the smooth conduct of clinical studies.
Requirements:
  • Education: Post-secondary degree or equivalent.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of clinical-related work experience is preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software applications.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage workload effectively.
