Job Title: Senior Polymer Engineer

Job Summary: At Kinectrics Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Polymer Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Polymer Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting quality control on programs, procedures, and control strategies, determining product specifications, and establishing new quality control programs and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality control on programs, procedures, and control strategies
  • Determine product specifications
  • Establish new quality control programs and strategies
  • Evaluate chemical process technology and equipment
  • Conduct economic and technical feasibility studies
  • Conduct research into the development or improvement of chemical engineering processes, reactions, and materials
  • Design and test chemical processing and associated plants and equipment
  • Develop guidelines and specifications for the handling of dangerous chemicals, environmental protection, or standards for foods, materials, and consumer goods
  • Prepare contract documents and evaluate tenders
  • Supervise technicians, technologists, and other engineers
  • Commission systems and components
  • Supervise laboratory activities
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • 5 years or more of experience in the field

Work Environment: Our work environment is fast-paced, and you must be able to work under pressure with tight deadlines. You will be working in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments.
