Job Title: Order Packer

At Fastco Canada, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Order Packer to join our team. As an Order Packer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that orders are prepared and shipped efficiently and accurately to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pack merchandise with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Apply invoices and shipping labels on merchandise
  • Collect and verify that all items and goods are included in the shipments
  • Prepare shipments and shipping orders for transport companies
  • Load, unload, sort and move goods by hand or using a pallet
  • Verify documents correspond to goods at the verification station
  • Gather boxes of accessories from the warehouse store and ensure they are placed with the right orders
  • Attach and wrap products for shipping
Health and Safety:
  • Comply with standards and business procedures, as well as enforce health and safety laws
  • Ensure work areas and equipment are kept clean and organized at all times
Other Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the annual inventory
  • Complete various reports
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or vocational training
  • Minimum of one year experience in a similar position
  • Good knowledge of French and English
  • Having work boots is essential
  • Forklift operator credentials would be an asset
  • Able to work in an environment where the temperature varies
  • Good physical endurance to regularly move goods over 60 lbs
