As a key member of our Family Law team at Miller Thomson, you will play a vital role in supporting our lawyers in managing assignments and priorities to ensure deadlines are met and files are continuously and consistently moving forward.

The ideal candidate will be a responsive, intelligent, and resourceful individual with a professional attitude and excellent client service skills. They will possess a solid understanding of current legal terminology and working knowledge of the civil procedure Court rules where applicable.

Key responsibilities will include drafting and revising various Court and legal documents, reviewing and summarizing productions received from clients, opposing counsel, and external parties, and preparing financial and net family property statements.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for assisting in the management of uncontested divorce files from inception to completion, preparing and assembling various briefs and other materials required for case conferences, hearings, motions, and trials, and liaising with clients, opposing counsel, and other external parties as required.
