Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President, Solutions to lead our Customer Engineering practice and refine the structure of this pre-sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leadership, technical sales, and customer relationship development.

The Vice President, Solutions will play a critical role in the following key areas of responsibility:

  • Leadership and Management of Customer Engineering Practice: Refine the structure of this pre-sales team, including territory coverage, performance measures, role clarification, recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding methods.
  • Technical Sales Support: Engage with assigned or targeted customer organizations, understand customer business, and establish technical and business credibility with clients.
  • Customer Relationship Development: Create and cultivate key trusted-advisor relationships with senior-level IT executives, demonstrating an understanding of key business challenges within customer markets.
  • Partner Alignment and Technical Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with partner pre-sales, solutions, and customer engineers.
  • Offering and Portfolio Expansion within Account Base: Act as the primary interface to our delivery organization for recommendations on new offerings, upgrades, and augmentations to enhance corporate competency in meeting customer needs.
  • Customer Success and Technical Escalation: Actively participate in customer project kick-offs, architecture sessions, key status meetings, milestone reviews, and project closeouts.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, and experience working for and holding a leadership role in a mid-sized services company. They will also have experience in the Google partner ecosystem, or at a minimum, AWS or Azure.

The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and across multiple time zones.
