Windigo Education Board is seeking a dedicated Special Education Resource Teacher (SERT) to join our team at Martin McKay Memorial School in Sachigo Lake First Nation, Ontario.
About Us
Windigo Education Board serves over 400 students across four First Nations communities. Our schools provide quality education rooted in land-based teachings, activities, and values that support student growth through collaboration between school, family, and community.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver specialized educational programs
- Provide team consultation, communication, and liaison
- Conduct student assessments
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Education degree
- Special Education qualifications
- Member in good standing with Ontario College of Teachers (OCT)
- Experience working with Indigenous students preferred
