About the Role:

At JOYCE, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding and bathing
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Assist with light housekeeping and laundry

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • First Aid Certificate and Health Care Aide Certificate
  • Criminal record check and reference required

Work Environment:

As a Home Support Worker, you will work in a fast-paced environment, providing care and support to clients in their own homes. You will be required to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work under pressure.
