We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Engineer to join our team at J&M Group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Firewall Expertise: Provide advanced hands-on support for Enterprise firewalls, including Palo Alto and Fortinet, log reporting, firewall audits, and vulnerability management.
  • Network Design and Analysis: Design and analyze network architectures, including network segmentation, and prepare network or infrastructure Visio topology diagrams.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices, and implement security measures to protect against cyber threats.
  • Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Troubleshooting and Network Management: Troubleshoot network issues and manage network utilities, including SNMP, ICMP, SSH, Telnet, Traceroute, and Wireshark.

Requirements:

  • Expert-level knowledge: Networking fundamentals, switching, routing, IP addressing, LAN and WAN protocols, routing protocols, VLAN, VPNs, network security.
  • Experience: Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls, network design, network segmentation, network traffic analysis, Splunk, Wireshark.
  • Skills: Troubleshooting, network management, vendor management, security compliance, network design, network analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Azure and Cloud experience: Nice to have.
  • Routing Concepts: Static Routing, RIP, EIGRP, BGP, Class full and Classless Routing.
  • Switching Concepts: VLANS, STP, RSTP, VTP, HSRP, VSS, Trunk Encapsulation, MAC Filtering, Ether-channel, port-security.
