Job Title: Family Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Caregiver to join our team at Gurpreet Kaur. As a Family Caregiver, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Assist with medication management and administration, as needed
Requirements:
  • 1-7 months of experience in a caregiving role
  • Permanent position, 40 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Physically demanding, with repetitive tasks
  • Punctuality, client focus, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, patience, and honesty
Work Environment:

Our clients live in their own homes, and as a Family Caregiver, you will work in a non-smoking environment. You will be required to work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and may be required to lift or move clients as needed.
