  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Manage Budget and Cost Estimates: Prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure that we are operating within our means and making the most of our resources.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that we provide excellent customer service.
  • Maintain Records: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare and submit reports to management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant.
  • Supervision: 1 to 2 people.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and team player.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
