Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Manager of Ecosystem Assessments to join our team in Vancouver, BC, Calgary, AB, Toronto, ON, or one of our other Canadian offices. As a key member of our team, you will work on a diverse range of projects for ERM clients across Canada, focusing on environmental effects monitoring programs for mining clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the technical aspects of EEM programs, ensuring that all aspects are delivered to the highest standard and meet client requirements.
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement effective project plans, ensuring that deadlines are met and client expectations are exceeded.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on environmental effects monitoring programs, ensuring that they are aware of the latest regulations and best practices.

Requirements

  • M.Sc. in Toxicology, Aquatic Sciences, Fisheries or another related technical field is preferred. A B.Sc will be considered if combined with substantial practical experience. Or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years (7+ years preferred) of consulting experience in the design and delivery of aquatic effects monitoring programs, ideally for sites both in British Columbia and the North. Regulatory and/or industry experience will be considered as well.
  • Registration, or eligibility to apply to become a registered professional to be considered a Qualified Professional for oversight of and/or certifying regulatory deliverables.
