About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Farm Labourer to join our team at Vandenberg Feeders Ltd. in a rural area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Feed and tend to animals, ensuring their health and well-being.
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, performing routine checks and repairs.
  • Clean and maintain stables, barns, barnyards, and pens, adhering to high standards of hygiene and safety.
  • Perform general farm duties, including tasks such as cleaning and maintaining equipment.
  • Maintain farm machinery, equipment, and buildings, ensuring they are in good working order.
Requirements
  • Judgement and initiative are essential for this role, as you will be working independently and making decisions that impact the farm's operations.
  • Strong communication skills are required, as you will be working with colleagues and management to achieve goals.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as required.
  • Fluency in English is necessary, as this is the primary language used in the workplace.
