We are seeking a reliable and physically demanding Greenhouse Worker to join our team at Ed Sobkowich Greenhouses. As a Greenhouse Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and productivity of our plants, ensuring a high-quality crop for our customers.

• Clean and maintain the greenhouse environment, including pruning, weeding, and fertilizing plants.
• Assist in transplanting seedlings and rooted cuttings, and potting and re-potting plants as needed.
• Monitor and report signs of insect or disease damage, and take corrective action to prevent further damage.
• Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens, ensuring optimal growing conditions.
• Perform other tasks as required to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a greenhouse or horticultural setting an asset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift heavy loads (up to 23 kg/50 lbs).
• Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
• Reliability and ability to work as part of a team.

• Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
• Physically demanding work, including standing for extended periods and bending, crouching, and kneeling.
• Work site environment: wet/damp, hot, non-smoking.

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

32-55 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts as required.
