Overview

Fountain Tire Sudbury (Commercial) is seeking a skilled Tire Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, balance, and rotate passenger, light truck, medium truck tires and wheels
  • Complete and maintain various safety courses, including Whimis, TIA, Rim Safety course, and Customer Experience Standards
  • Reset and repair tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
  • Ensure personal and coworker safety
  • Maintain tire service equipment on a regular basis
  • Perform specialty tire work, including studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
  • Assist with inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts

Working Conditions:

  • A team environment where hard work, concise communication, and clear heads are valued
  • Consistent lifting of weights up to 50KG is required
  • This role involves unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy conditions, and we need someone who can adapt
  • Nearly constant standing, crouching, or kneeling is required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience is an asset, but we are willing to train motivated individuals with a good attitude
  • A valid G2 driver's license is required; G1 licenses will not be considered
  • Excellent customer service and a positive attitude are essential
  • A team player who takes pride in their work
