Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Vancouver/Nanaimo, BC. As a key member of our geotechnical department, you will be responsible for leading geotechnical investigations, evaluating geologic conditions, and conducting seismic assessments.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and supervising geotechnical investigations
  • Evaluating geologic conditions and geotechnical characteristics
  • Conducting seismic assessments
  • Developing remediation designs and completing project reports
  • Collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Project management of small and medium multidiscipline projects
  • Mentoring junior staff and contributing to the growth and development of our team

Requirements

  • Minimum undergraduate degree in Civil, Geotechnical, Geological Engineering or similar
  • 5-15 years of experience in geotechnical engineering
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, GeoStudio 2007 Products, and MS Office
  • Ability to travel and work in all weather conditions
