About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Scrum Master to join our team, responsible for fostering high-performing software teams and driving the effective implementation of Scrum methodology within the organization. As a Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in coaching, addressing impediments, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, and contributing to the continuous improvement of Agile practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, ensuring smooth execution and effective communication among team members.
  • Ensure tickets meet the definition of ready and definition of done, promoting transparency and clarity throughout the development process.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to measure and stabilize team velocity, translating it into accurate roadmap timelines.
  • Report team performance metrics, driving continuous improvement in commitment accuracy and throughput.
  • Provide guidance on metrics gathering and coordinate metrics sharing with leadership, ensuring informed decision-making.
  • Support the advancement of Agile practices within the organization, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to Scrum best practices and guidelines, maintaining a high level of team health and performance.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Scrum role within software development teams, with strong leadership capabilities and the ability to influence team outcomes.
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies and development tracking software (e.g., Jira).
  • Passion for understanding individual, team, and inter-departmental working dynamics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information effectively.
  • Experience in conducting Scrum ceremonies and working with distributed or remote teams.
  • Knowledge of additional Agile frameworks, such as Kanban.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring team members, promoting growth and development.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to navigate complex team dynamics.
