Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Carpenter Foreperson to lead our construction teams in the Buildings sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and project management, with a proven track record of delivering results-oriented solutions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead construction projects and ensure that construction goals are achieved and meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Produce high-quality work that results in an exceptional client experience.
  • Ensure projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, and applicable building codes while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Work with the project team to meet milestones and completion dates according to the established project schedule.
  • Provide clear direction to team members to ensure project targets are achieved.
  • Attend project meetings and ensure that information is transmitted to the team.

Requirements:
  • Skilled Carpenter with experience managing construction teams.
  • Hold a valid Journeyperson ticket.
  • CSTS 2020 & WHMIS 2015.
  • Fall Protection (Ossa Preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a supervisory/leadership role.
  • Civil experience an asset.
  • Understanding of construction phases and workflow.
  • Experience in multiple phases of construction, from foundation work to finishing.
