At Ardent Industries Ltd, we're committed to delivering exceptional products and services to our customers. To achieve this, we're seeking a skilled Fitter/Welder to join our manufacturing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Weld Flux core (all positions) and metal core (flat) with precision and attention to detail.
- Fabricate cranes and crane-related parts according to blueprints, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Operate a range of equipment, including grinders, die grinders, oxy acetylene torches, forklifts, and overhead cranes, with confidence and safety.
- Identify and repair weld defects, maintaining a high level of quality control.
- Ensure a safe working environment by keeping the workspace clean and free of hazards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent as a minimum.
- At least 2 years of experience in structural steel fitting and welding.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
