Job Title: Machinist - CNC Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Machinist - CNC Specialist to join our team at Elpa. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines, ensuring high-quality production and meeting production targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain CNC machines, including setup, programming, and troubleshooting.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate production.
  • Repair and maintain machine tools and parts, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Set up and adjust production machinery, including CNC machines, to meet production requirements.
  • Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance, ensuring high-quality production.
  • Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
  • Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances, ensuring quality control and continuous improvement.
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments, ensuring accuracy and conformance to specifications.
  • Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools, including CNC machines.
  • Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in CNC machining or a related field.
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of CNC machining principles, including programming and setup.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and quality control.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
